Washington State International Kite Festival (WSIKF)

Every year during the 3rd full week of August, Long Beach (WA) hosts the International Kite Festival.
SEVEN days of kite flying, competitions, demonstrations, international celebrities, themed huge inflatables, kids kite making, handcrafted kite judging, 5 Mass Ascensions, vendors along the Promenade, FOOD! and more. Many of the regional kite clubs and associations will be there so check their websites and Facebook pages.

The Washington Kitefliers Association and the World Kite Museum hosts dinners for a fee.
This year the Associated Oregon Kiters (AOK) will not be hosting a dinner.

Make your hotel/motel/campground reservations EARLY or you’ll be staying in Ilwaco or elsewhere!!!
