  • Lincoln City Fall Kite Festival

    Location Change: Due to renovations of the D-River Wayside State Park, the venue has changed to be held at the Chinook Winds Casino and Resort Motel, on the beach and grassy areas.  Friday from 6:00-ish to 9:00-ish will be a lighted kite fly. Saturday and Sunday events will be from 10:00am to 4:00pm.

    The official is always the 2nd Sunday in October. Locally, come fly October 11 & 12 off the Bolstad Beach approach in Long Beach, WA from 10-5pm. Fly for an hour or more and get a fly pin from James King at the World Kite Museum, jking3112003 at yahoo dot com.

  • American Kitefliers Assn Annual Convention

    Horizon Convention Center 401 S High St, Muncie, IN, United States

    Banquet, meetings, indoor flying, and indoor display space are available at the Horizon Convention Center, located in the heart of the Midwest in Muncie, Indiana. Hotel is the Courtyard by Marriott, less than a block walk from the convention center. Flying fields are less than a 10-minute drive at the Association of Model Aeronautics, who is once again offering the AKA the use of the 1,000-acre flying fields! More info coming.
